LA GRANGE — All the opening-round games in the 2012 Pepsi Showdown boys soccer tournament were played Saturday at the Lyons Soccer Complex.

Huntley 5, No. 12 Fenwick 0: Freshman midfielder Jason Zobott scored in the first minute to set the Raiders’ dominant tone. Senior forward Lucas Baker scored two goals in the second half for Huntley (8-0). The Friars dropped to 3-3.

Lane 1, No. 6 Leyden 0: Senior forward Abraham Sandaval scored the game-winner in the 17th minute for Chicago Public League power Lane (5-0-2). Sophomore Leyden keeper Konrad Dziedzic recorded five saves for the Eagles (4-2-2).

No. 14 Lake Zurich 2, Oswego 1, PK: Sophomore forward Ian Murray sealed the victory by drilling a ball into the right corner as the Bears (3-5-1) earned a 4-2 decision in the penalty kick shootout. Senior forward Will O’Brien scored his first goal of the year in the 19th minute for Lake Zurich. Freshman midfielder J.C. Mora scored off a rebound for the Panthers (4-2).

No. 3 Larkin 3, Lake Forest Academy 2: Junior forward Erik Rodriguez scored two goals as the Royals (6-1) exploded for three goals in a 10-minute stretch of the second half to erase a 1-0 deficit. Sophomore Calum Bishop registered a goal and an assist for the Caxys (3-1).

No. 2 Libertyville 5, Lisle 0: Junior forward Lloyd Chatfield recorded his first career hat trick as Libertyville (3-1), the defending tournament champion, dominated throughout against Lisle (6-2), which won the 2010 Class 1A state title and was runner-up last year.

No. 13 Loyola Academy 4, Plainfield Central 0: The Ramblers (5-3-1) got goals from Alex Lopez, Corey Meehan, Kevin Francis and Charlie Floyd to lead them to victory.

No. 4 Lyons 2, Bartlett 0: Brett Heimerdinger and Emilio Godinez each scored goals off assists from Frankie Kocimski to help the host Lions (5-2-1) win.

West Chicago 1, No. 15 Oak Park-River Forest 0: The Huskies (2-5-1) weren’t able to build on Friday’s big win over rival Fenwick as Jenaro Terrazas scored on a penalty with 10:50 left.

No. 10 St. Charles North 3, Niles West 1.
