Dancers ready for ‘The Nutcracker’ at Hinsdale Central

The Salt Creek Ballet Studio is finishing up rehearsals for weekend performances of “The Nutcracker.”

Performances are at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Hinsdale Central High School auditorium, 5500 S. Grant St., Hinsdale.

Tickets for the Saturday performance are $31; $26 for children 12 and under and senior citizens; $15 for second balcony. Tickets for the Sunday performance include a Sugar Plum Party following the performance and are $37; $31 for children 12 and under and seniors; $20 for second balcony.

At the Sugar Plum Party, guests will meet characters from “The Nutcracker,” step onto the stage, and enjoy refreshments in a magical, winter wonderland.
