The inaugural participation in the National Walk to School Day by St. Isaac Jogues School included students in kindergarten through eighth grandes The students were encouraged to walk or bike to school on Oct. 9. St. Isaac Jogues’s buses dropped students at The Community House to allow bus riders to participate in the event. Hinsdale police officers, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders and St. Isaac Jogues’s own mascot welcomed students when they arrived to school.

Students throughout the nation participate in this annual event to promote the benefits of physical activity. Great job, students!
