Hinsdale Central forensics hits 3 tourneys

The Hinsdale Central Forensics Team split up and attended three different tournaments recently. The following are the results:
Wheaton North:
The seniors (and a few juniors) attended the Wheaton North “Technicolor” Tournament.
Hinsdale Central finished first for the first time in the history of this tournament. The team scored 195 points, topping Glenbard West and Downers North, who tied for 2nd with 189 points. There were six finalists at this tournament and five other events that missed finals by one point.
Downers Grove South:
The school’s novices attended Downers South for an all novice tournament. Every one of the school’s novices earned recognition for finishing in the top six in at least one of their events. Hinsdale Central finished 2nd overall at the tournament, earned 16 individual awards, and had four tournament champions.
Fremd:
The sophomores and juniors attended a new tournament for us at Fremd high school. The team finished in fourth place, despite not having a full roster attend the tournament. There were 10 finalists and three tournament champions.
