Metra names safety contest winners

Metra recently announced the winners in its annual safety contest.
Alexandra Lithgow, an eighth-grader at Clarendon Hills Middle School, was a second-place winner in the Safety Poster Contest.
Third-place winners included sixth-grader Lauren Trail from McClure Junior High in Western Springs, and Danny Caplice, a junior at Lyons Township High School.
The contest seeks to promote railroad safety awareness. This year’s contest theme was Lead the Way: Look, Listen and Live.
