Academic expo hosted

All seventh- and eighth-graders are welcome to come and spend the morning at

Nazareth Academy Academic Expo while exploring some of their favorite subjects from 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 29 which will provide grade school students with an opportunity to meet new people, learn something new and spend time in a high school environment.

Participants can choose from sessions in English, Fine Arts, Math, Foreign Language, Religion, Science and Social Studies. Topics include: Who wants to be a stock market millionaire?; Jesus on Facebook; SCRATCHing the Surface of Computer Programming; Improv at the Academy; Writing Happily Ever After: Transforming Fairy Tales into Modern News Articles; and many more.

In addition, participants are provided with a light breakfast and an All Season Sports Pass for free entrance to all Nazareth home athletic contests. Registration cost is $30. Advanced registration required.
