Miami University students who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average for second semester 2011-2012 have been named to the president’s list recognizing academic excellence, including:

From Clarendon Hills: Tracey K. McKay
Mariel Skoda of Western Springs was named by Baylor University as a recipient of a scholastic award. Skoda is a recent high school graduate who will receive the merit scholarship based on her class rank and/or SAT/ACT scores for the 2012-2013 academic year. Skoda, a Lyons Township High School graduate, earned a Provost’s Gold.
During University of Wisconsin-Madison’s spring commencement ceremonies, degrees were awarded to:

Meaghan Cassin, a resident of Clarendon Hills, has been named to the Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences’ dean’s list for spring semester 2012.
Undergraduate students at the University of Kansas earned distinction, including:
From Burr Ridge: Vittoria Harrell, a senior in pre-occupational therapy, was named to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences 2012 spring honor roll. Harrell is a graduate of Nazareth Academy.
From Hinsdale: Britta Hill, a senior in elementary education and curriculum and instruction, was named to the School of Education 2012 spring honor roll. Hill is a graduate of Hinsdale Township High School Central.
