Hinsdale police blotter for Sept. 4

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Hinsdale Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Hector D. Palacios, 22, of 178 Mountain Laurel Court, Romeoville, was stopped at about 2:55 a.m. Aug. 29 because he was driving suspiciously on side streets near Ogden Avenue and Madison Street. He was charged with driving with a revoked license, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without valid insurance.
Kathleen B. Stack, 52, of 5209 Ellington Ave., Western Springs, was stopped at about 12:20 a.m. Sept. 1 on the 5500 block of South County Line Road and charged with DUI, driving without taillights and improper lane use.
Clemente Morales, 51, of 133 N. 11th Ave., Melrose Park, was stopped for improper lane use on northbound state Route 83 between 59th and 55th streets and subsequently charged with DUI and not having a drivers license nor insurance.
Fernando Mojica, 23, of 38 W. 63rd St., Westmont, was stopped for improper lane use at 55th and Madison streets at about 3 a.m. Sept. 2 and charged with DUI, not having a drivers license and failure to dim lights.
An officer responding to a call about juveniles ringing doorbells and running away at about 1:35 a.m. Aug. 31 found a 17-year-old resident who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol on Oak Street at Sixth Street. The police said after the teenager failed a breath test, he was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and released to his parent’s custody.
A resident on the 800 block of South Thurlow Street reported that between 1 p.m. Sept. 1 and 4 p.m. Sept.2 someone forced open the rear door of the house searched the master bedroom, while no one was home. The residents did not notice anything missing.
Christopher J. Stephens, 41, of 131 N. Garfield Ave., of Hinsdale, was charged with domestic battery at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in his home.
A resident of the 500 block of Burr Oak Place reported Aug. 27 a prescription bottle of pills was taken from a bathroom in his home on the 500 block of Burr Oak Place. The theft occurred during a real estate open house about 2 p.m. Aug. 26, when four people toured the home.
A bicycle valued at $200 was reported missing after being left unlocked at the bicycle rack outside of Starbucks coffee shop, 33 S. Washington St., between 7 p.m. Aug. 24 and 7 p.m. Aug. 27. The bike was valued at $200.
Someone stole $12 from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane between 4 p.m. Aug. 25 and 10 a.m. Aug. 26. The theft was reported Aug. 28.
