Hinsdale police blotter for June 26

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Hinsdale Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ALCOHOL
Police responded to the report of a loud party on the 800 block of South Park Avenue at 12:34 a.m. June 22 and charged six Hinsdale residents with underage possession of alcohol. Charged were Patrick J. Bartecki, 18, of 621 E. Sixth St.; Tyler A. Beth, 18, of 427 S. Lincoln St.,; Michael A. Carmazzi, 19, of 704 S. Thurlow; Matthew M. Christian, 19, of 735 S. Bruner; Kelsey A. Concklin, 18, of 800 Harding Road; and John W. Lisy, 18, of 919 S. County Line Road.
Samantha M. Price, 19, of 6250 Clarendon Hills Road, Willowbrook, was charged with possession of drug equipment and underage possession of alcohol. An officer allegedly found a pipe used for smoking marijuana in Price’s purse.
BURGLARY
Someone shattered a window of a car in the Wellness Center parking lot, at Hillgrove and County Line Road, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. June 19, and stole sunglasses and a purse containing a wallet, and several credit and gift cards. The stolen items had a reported total value of $5,050.
DRUGS
Julie K. Polich, 40, 246 Washington Ave., La Grange, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and improper lane use on the 300 block of East Ogden Avenue at 9:03 a.m. June 24.
A GPS device, valued at $200, and $50 from a wallet in a work van were reported stolen between between 9:42 a.m. and 11:42 a.m. June 22 on the 1400 block of Burr Oak Road. The worker did not know if he had locked the van.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
Someone threw a rock through the front window of a home on the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane at 12:33 a.m. June 26, causing $500 in damage. Three mailboxes, valued at $50 each, also were damaged on the block.
THEFT
Vidal G. Moran, 21, of 200 S. Monroe, Hinsdale, was arrested at 4:36 a.m. June 23 and charged with theft of services after he took a cab from Chicago to the 200 block of South Monroe Street and allegedly refused to pay the fare.
A bicycle, which cost $299, was reported stolen from the rack at the Hinsdale Community Pool, at 500 W. Hinsdale, when it was left unlocked between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. June 20.
TRAFFIC
Thomas G. Manley, 53, of 118 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale, was charged with driving without a license after an officer stopped him near Garfield and Hinsdale Avenue for not wearing a seatbelt at 6:49 p.m. June 24.
