Theatre of Western Springs announces Board of Governors

WESTERN SPRINGS

Jennifer Jermano Miller of Indian Head Park has been named chairman of the Board of Governors at the Theatre of Western Springs.

She leads a board of nine members who handle the business and policy decisions of the 84-year-old theater.

Other board members include: Jennifer Jermano Miller of Indian Head Park, chairman; Kevin Slattery of Darien, vice chairman; Bob Baker of Western Springs, secretary; Ed Barrow of Hinsdale, member; Mark Cunningham of La Grange, member; Jim Gary of Elmhurst, member; Angelee Johns of Hinsdale, member; Sandra Rasnak of Hinsdale, member; and Bill Rotz of Woodridge, member

The theater’s mission is “to entertain, to educate, and to inspire across the generations through the art of theatre.” It is the responsibility of the members of the Board of Governors to uphold the mission.

The Theatre of Western Springs’ 84th continuous season began Sept. 6, with the opening of “Moonlight and Magnolias,” by Ron Hutchison and directed by TWS Artistic Director Rick Snyder. The comedy will run through Sunday, Sept. 16.

“The Women of Lockerbie,” by Deborah Brevoort and directed by Burr Ridge resident Linda Roberts, opens Thursday, Sept. 27, for a two week run.
