Open House Sunday in new assisted living place in Hinsdale

HINSDALE — Eve Assisted Living, which opened this month at 10 N. Washington St. in Hinsdale, will hold an Open House Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.
The facility offers a range of care levels for people 55 or older in private studios or two-bedroom suites.
Eve is located in the former Washington Square Retirement Community, which was extensively renovated for its new use.
The Hinsdale Village Board in October 2011 approved the facility, which needed a special use permit and a change in the zoning code, after months of review and negotiations. During that process, the facility was called Eden Supportive Living, operated by Eden Hinsdale LLC.
