Candidate workshop set in Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills District 181

HINSDALE — Candidates for the April 2013 Board of Education election in Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Elementary District 181 have been invited to attend a board candidate workshop on Feb. 4.

Superintendent Renee Schuster notes the purpose of the workshop is to give the candidates an opportunity to learn more about the district and ask any questions they may have. The event is open to the public. It begins at 6 p.m. and will take place in Monroe School, 210 N. Madison St., Hinsdale.

Three seats on the seven-member board will be filled in the April 9, election. The candidates are Richard Fitzgerald, Gary Clarin, Mridu Garg Jill Vorobiev, and incumbent Sarah Lewensohn. Those who are elected will serve four-year terms expiring in April 2017.
