Estate planner buys Hinsdale home

HINSDALE — Scott A. Sissel and Anne K. Sissel purchased a home Aug. 13 at 8 South Bodin St. in Hinsdale from Catherine T. Smith and Brian J. Smith. The 85-year-old, four-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 3,280-square-foot home sold for $860,000.

Scott Sissel is an estate planning partner at Duggan Bertsch, LLC. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a juris doctorate in tax and estate planning from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in taxation from the Northwestern University School of Law.
