The Birches Assisted Living facility in Clarendon Hills hosted a Mardi Gras party for residents Feb. 1,
The event included decorations of feathers and beads along with staff members wearing costumes. The Midway Ramblers Cajun Band provided musical entertainment.
Officially, Mardi Gras is the day before Ash Wednesday, which falls Feb. 21 this year.
