Hinsdale burglary attempt reported on 300 block of Springlake

A Hinsdale resident of the 300 block of Springlake Avenue reported to police Jan. 28 that she found pry marks on her front door and the door jam.
The resident noticed the pry marks when she found the door would not close properly.
The door remained locked, and no entry was gained into the house during what police are calling a burglary attempt, which took place between 7 p.m. Jan. 25 and 7 p.m. Jan. 26.
