Chicago Music Awards recognizes Hinsdale group

Kidz in the Mix, a Hinsdale-based kids dance and yoga program led by Tanja Pazou, was honored Sunday at the Chicago Music Awards in the category of Chicago Rising Star under 12.
The group also received an invitation to teach at other schools in Chicago and have been invited to perform at different events around Chicago!
Ten members of the group performed at the awards ceremony. All Kidz in the Mix members are from the Hinsdale area ages 6-11 and very enthusiastic when it comes to dance in general. Pazou has worked with some of these kids for more than three years.
Last year, they performed at the Veganmania in Chicago and received a standing ovation from more than 300 viewers.
This past summer, Pazou Productions shot a television pilot for a Kidz in the Mix learn along show with 11 kids from the local area.
