Nite at the Net
The Hinsdale Racquet Club will present Nite at the Net, a fundraiser to benefit the Neighbors in Need Fund of Catholic Charities-Chicago, beginning at 6 p.m. on Feb. 4 at 5730 S. Grand St. Blackhawks Coach Joel Quenneville will emcee; other Blackhawks will be in attendance. The evening includes tennis drills, a ping pong tournament, a silent auction, cocktails and food. Get FITsicle
The teen board of the Robert Crown Center for Health Education will host its Let’s Get FITsicle winter fundraiser from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 11 at Pump It Up, 684 W. Lake St. in Elmhurst. Parents can drop off their first-eighth grade children for an afternoon of jumping in indoor inflatables while learning ways to eat right and get enough exercise. The cost is $20 per child. Top Hat Ball
The 16th annual Marklund Top Hat Ball will take place at 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at Marriott Chicago Downtown, 540 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Tablescapes
The Hinsdale Auxiliary Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago will hold its benefit, Tablescapes, from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Oak Brook Marriott Hills Resort, 3500 Midwest Road in Oak Brook. The event will feature eight member-designed tables that have drawn their inspiration from various Chicago neighborhoods and landmarks. Clubbin’ for a Cause
The Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club will hold its annual fundraising benefit, Clubbin’ for a Cause, at 7 p.m. March 3 at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. The event will feature dinner and dessert buffets, entertainment and live and silent auction packages. Tickets are $125 each. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana is the sole recipient of all proceeds from the event. For more information, visit www.hjwc.us.
Chef Fest
The western suburbs’ most celebrated chefs will be featured at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild’s Chef Fest 2012 from 5:30-9 p.m. Feb. 23 at 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. This event provides a unique opportunity for attendees to enjoy their favorite area restaurants and try new ones. A donation of $60 per person is required. Individual tickets may be purchased at the door. Proceeds will benefit Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare projects and programs.
