Lewd graffiti found on cars, signs in Hinsdale

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the area police departments.

HINSDALE

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Another vehicle struck a Mobil employee’s car parked at the gas station, at 8 W. Chicago Ave., between 2:15 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. Oct. 8, and drove away without leaving contact information. A witness said the vehicle was a black Chevy Trailblazer.

A vandal scratched a vehicle in the Garfield commuter parking lot between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 10.

VANDALISM

Vandals painted lewd pictures and words on parked vehicles and street signs on the 400 block of North County Line Road, the 500 block of Ravine Road and the 300 block of Phillippa Street, between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and 8 a.m. Oct. 12.
