The Republic Bank of Chicago, headquartered in Oak Brook, has donated $1,000 to the Ada S. McKinley Educational Services’ Students Trunk Scholarship Fund. Republic Bank’s offering will go toward providing everyday campus living essentials — such as school supplies, linens, toiletries and computers — to those students whom the Ada S. McKinley Community Services agency grants scholarships to colleges and universities across the U. S.
The donation to Ada S. McKinley is only one of many endeavors Republic Bank has and will continue to make to Chicagoland communities throughout the year. By the end of 2012, Republic Bank will have donated $125,000 to a variety of community reinvestment efforts.
