DuPage Medical Group expands presence

DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, is growing through the acquisition of two primary care practices in Western Springs: HMS Inc. and Christy Furey, MD, SC. As of June 1, the two practices combined as DuPage Medical Group Family Medicine in Western Springs, and continue to see patients at the current location at 5600 South Wolf Road, Suite 110.
The two practices have served patients since 2000, admitting to Adventist LaGrange Memorial Hospital. HMS’ three principal physicians are Drs. Margaret Hannon, Monica Mozwecz and Kimberly Scanlon. Furey led her own practice, however the two groups have worked in collaboration or more than a decade.
