DuPage County Sheriff’s Manhunt Monday: Itasca man wanted for child endangerment

Last July, DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba‘s office announced a new initiative to track down local fugitives called “Manhunt Monday” in which it would select one person every week to feature in hopes that someone with information about the criminal’s whereabouts comes forward.

In a statement on their website, the sheriff’s office said: “On ‘Manhunt Monday’ the Sheriff’s Office will highlight one criminal who is being sought after for having outstanding warrants. Please remember these suspects are wanted for criminal charges and need to be apprehended by law enforcement.”

Sheriff John Zaruba announced today’s “Manhunt Monday” pick of the week is wanted out of Itasca for Aggravated Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Endangering the Life of a Child, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Theft.

This week, the Sheriff’s Office is looking for James T. Barker.

The 30 year old male is wanted on a class 4 felony Aggravated Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Endangering the Life of a Child, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Theft.

James T. Barker (dob/01/23/84) is 5’7” tall, 125 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 6 N 400 block of Lloyd St., Itasca.
