Four new bundles of fur have showed up at the Hinsdale Humane Society. As announced on the organization’s Facebook page, a litter of kittens is looking for a new home. Here is a brief Q-and-A with Hinsdale Humane Society Operation Manager Jennifer Vlazny.
Q: Where did these kittens come from?
A: They were owner-surrendered from man who owned the parents.
Q: How long have they been at the Humane Society?
A: We received the kittens on Sunday, Feb. 9. They became available for adoption yesterday.
Q: Do you know what breed/age the kittens are?
A: They are domestic short hairs, 12 weeks old.
Q: What should someone interested in adopting a kitten know, particularly about this litter?
A: They are well-socialized, friendly and playful kittens suitable for placement with children and/or other pets. There is a lot of information to know before adding a kitten to your life. Kittens need lots of playtime, socialization, acclimation to litter box use, acceptable objects to scratch on, supervision, correct diet for growing kitten, etc. etc.
