Cell tower repairs at Hinsdale Hospital

HINSDALE — Workers are replacing cell phone repeaters on the smokestack at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital this week, a hospital spokesman said.
A telecomunnication company that has its antennas and transmission equipment on the hospital’s smokestack needed to replace the repeaters, those devices that amplify cellphone signals, so they can be transmitted to areas where the coverage is poor.
