Hinsdale home burglarized

HINSDALE — Hinsdale police report a burglar forced open a door on the rear of a house on the 100 block of South Madison Street and stole money and jewelry from the home between 10 a.m. and 2:06 p.m. Monday.
The burglar searched several rooms, including the living room, dining room and two bedrooms. The residents, who were not home during the burglary, are compiling a list of what was taken. The police are investigating the crime.
