Burglary on Third Street in Hinsdale

HINSDALE — A house on the first block of East Third Street was burglarized Friday afternoon. The Hinsdale Police Department reported someone forced open a rear door between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and stole various pieces of jewelry from bedrooms in the home.
Police officials are asking for the community’s help to solve the crime. Anyone who noticed anything suspicious or has surveillance video from a security camera in the area is asked to contact the investigations division at (630) 789-7070.
The police also remind residents who see something suspicious to call 911, while it’s happening.
